A Stargate SG-1 gen fanzine with a twist. The existence of alternate realities has been firmly established as “canon” on the show. Our authors have taken an episode and rewritten it in some way, creating an alternate universe. Or they have written a completely original tale about an alternate reality SGC. Some stories are totally AU and some involve “our” SG-1 going through the quantum mirror.

There seems to be some confusion sometimes over the concept of the zine. Simply put, these are “what if” stories. What if something in an episode had happened differently? What if one of the team members was somehow different? Forks in the road with a different path taken.

A big thank you to Tiv’ester and Sanna for approaching me with the idea of this zine.

Approximately 125,500 words. Color cover. Seven color inserts. 184 pages of reduced print in columnar format.

Sadly, I have had to cancel any further issues of Splinters due to a lack of sufficient submissions. We have some great stories in Issue #1 and I hope you’ll give them a try, if you haven’t already. The stories already scheduled for Issue #2 were published in our regular genzine, Redemption.
